Murphy Family Ventures (MFV) is a family-owned management company founded in 2004 that supports a diverse mix of businesses—from agribusiness and land management to hospitality, boat building, golf maintenance, and heavy equipment services. In 2024, MFV reestablished itself as one of the largest independent pork producers in the U.S., entering a landmark deal to manage 150,000 sows and produce around 3.2 million hogs annually for Smithfield’s fresh pork operations.
